With global participation from leading clinicians and researchers in gastroenterology, surgery, endoscopy, oncology, pharmacology, and pathology, the 2026 OESO Congress promises to deliver another premier scientific and educational event to further the multidisciplinary exchange and collaboration. In addition to the panel of key international leaders, we would like to specifically invite young investigators, junior faculty, and trainees from each field to actively participate and engage in the Congress. We believe that OESO will continue to serve as a driving force in cultivating future leaders in esophageal diseases. The continued advancement of knowledge and clinical care in a complex and diverse like esophagology requires open dialogues and free exchange of ideas based on clinical and scientific evidence among all disciplines – a primary mission for OESO since the first world congress in 1984. The common goal we share is clear – to advance the diagnosis and treatment of esophageal diseases for our patients.
