Facing the Palace of Versailles, the Congress center offers a prestigious and peaceful environment. Close to Paris, accessible by public transport, yet offering a less urban and more tree-lined environment, Versailles is a city with a rich history and majestic monuments. On the way to OESO 2026, participants will see the Château de Versailles: what better environment to give the congress a unique aura in our Palais des Congrès near Paris?

Welcome to a place steeped in history…
France’s first convention center!
Designed by architect Pierre-Edouard Lambert, a disciple of concrete architecture pioneer Auguste Perret, the Palais des Congrès was inaugurated on 1967 by Georges Pompidou and Alain Poher. Its architecture, based on the balance of volumes and the ennoblement of raw concrete, blends harmoniously into the 17th-century architectural environment that forms the Golden Square of Versailles, opposite the Château. After more than a year of modernization work, the Palais reopened its doors in 2020 with a completely new configuration adapted to customer needs.
